Well if you are on plan, then the gain is most likely water weight from something. Sodium? Hormones? Stress? Exercise? Sickness? Inflammation? Medications? Drink your water. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations.

It may not be the calories or carbs. It could be many different issues like Suzi161 posted. Don't get frustrated or down! Next weigh in you could lose that weight and more :)

Are you using the 70% fat, 20% protein & 10% carbs? That's what works best for me. I don't look at calories except out of curiosity. When I log in my food on this site, the portion pie chart at the bottom helps me make choices to get it and keep it in those ranges. Hope this helps?

Make sure you are eating 12-15 carb of veggies. Drink lots of water. Half of your weight in water.I'm not sure if your recording your meals, but that is pretty important. It is hard to figure out the gain if we can't see your daily meal plan. Good Luck!

Guys thank you so much. All was great advice. I log on lose it. It is my monthly. I also am not getting enough sleep and I need to get those carbs from veggies. You guys are so supportive.
