Ended the day @ 1376 calories....Even with lasagna for dinner. A light, late afternoon snack (no lunch) of popcorn, cherries 🍒 & a plum, helped keep the calories lower

Do you always have dessert? You are one of the very few FS members who can actually stay on point when indulging. Just curious as to what you were eating when your weight was too high. What did you struggle with?

@JustBananas I still indulge on sweets sometimes and cereal is my go to light dessert. I just measure it out.

Bananas, I do eat dessert almost every evening. I started doing it as a way to signal "eating is done for the day". What I have for dessert varies from something as simple as sugar free jello with whipped cream to a small slice of cake. For me half the battle of losing & maintenance is creating better habits. I have eaten pretty healthy meals for a long time. When I don't practice moderation with snacks, alcoholic beverages & resteraunt meals I gain weight. I eat a wide variety of foods including the above....I just have to be cognizant of how much & how often I eat them. Over time a handful of nuts, an extra glass of wine, unlimited orders of fries add up. That's why after 2 years I'm still counting calories.
