Trying to figure out how to add more sodium to my way of eating. I use some but others say everything needs more salt. Hysterical that the nurse at my docs office is telling me to eat more salt, he said he didn't think he had ever told anyone that before. Maybe that's why I ate those chips earlier in the week.

Wallpaper border is about half off, the tough part is the glue residue. Left arm is so dang sore from the pneumonia shot I keep taking breaks.

Yummo dinner..blackened salmon and Cajun potato veggie cakes. Should have had another veggie but knew I couldn't eat more... Stuffed. Trying to get the smoke out of my house from the smokin hot iron skillet. Funny the color my kitchen will be is called Smokin Hot!! Love the name!!!

That is a first to hear about adding salt, but I know salt is important for the body to function. Even deer out in the wild look for salt and enjoy salt licks people put out for them. I have severe edema and even I add a pinch of sea salt to everything I cook from scratch. I am very careful with what I eat. I bet that is why you were craving chips too.

It was weird because I don't even like them much, I just kept eating them. A few in the summer when it's really hot out definitely wasn't hot out!!

Pickled veggies worked for me when I had an issue. I made dilly beans and some pickled mixed veggies. I don't use salt in anything nor do I cook with it so it was tough for me to add it in. Soy sauce has a lot too if you can find a decent brand. Good luck!

Nicholaix, thanks to everyone here. I'm thinking pickles, pickled veggies, olives. I use Braggs amino acid soy sauce most of the time, it's really good.

Mmmmm pack pickles in my lunch. Cheleez, I'd have the really low salt one, I don't like it salty.

There are a lot of foods that naturally contain sodium. First question should be "what kinds of foods do you like to eat?"

I'm going to start adding some seaweed back into my morning smoothies , nutrition boost plus some sodium. The new natural food store opens today, they have an olive bar! The one at Hy-vee makes me nervous as it's usually a bit of a mess. A couple of dill pickle spears will be in my lunch today. I don't want to overdo the sodium so it swings too far the other way and want any increase in sodium to be healthy choices. I've been hunting for higher sodium whole foods online. I eat mostly plant based whole natural foods, a bit of animal proteins now and then. Relatively no processed.
