Happy Salmon Saturday!

After finding all this info about salmon, I'm getting my 2 cans of red salmon out to make salmon patties later today😋 My daughter's coming over to help me set up my new smart watch (Galaxy4), so we'll make them while she's here. I'm so excited for her, she's starting to lose weight now too! It's contagious🤣🤣 (p.s. hubby's weight is dropping too!)

My husband and I love salmon patties! I bake them on parchment paper instead of frying them and use oatmeal instead of bread crumbs. Although I'm mostly plant-based, I'm still working in fish here and there. As an aside -- jimdeane is a spamming troll, and if you didn't know, you can delete his comment from your post if you'd like

I've been eating quite a bit of salmon the last two months since I've been changing my habits n it's quite satisfying n very tasty. 💕

My salmon bake: line casserole dish with foil; place thin slices of lemon in dish, 4-5 ounce piece of salmon on top of lemon slices, sprinkle with dill or lemon/pepper seasoning, more thin slices of lemon on top of fish & cover dish with lid. Bake in 350 oven for 22 minutes only. (No need to put lemon on base of dish if salmon retained skin). Pair with salad

I love salmon. So many different things you can do with it. I had salmon fillets today for lunch and salmon cakes last night.
