Just came from GP’s office. Unlike the last doctor in March who did not notice my weight loss, this one was thrilled. Down 35 pounds per her scale since she saw me 4 years ago. (Does not include the extra 11 pounds I gained after that.) If you’ve read any of my recent posts you’ll know I’ve been trying to understand fluctuations in my LDL despite real progress on the scale. This doctor says given my overall health she would not advise medications unless my LDL reached 190 and that hopefully the numbers will improve as I move from being obese into the overweight category. Looking forward to that change in about 5-6 pounds! Another lipid panel test for the endocrinologist in a month from now. In the meantime I’m upping my fiber, watching saturated fat intake and trying to be more active. Onward!
