It's Thirsty Thursday! 💧💧💧

Here's a few reminders about the importance of drinking water, both for our weight loss success and many other benefits as well.

It's supposed to be sunny and the warmest yet here (75) so I'll be out in the yard again. My hubby has officially started P.T. now and since our pain is basically in the same spot, we are doing the 'at home' exercises/stretches TOGETHER! This could be a great start to a lifelong exercise habit for us! We had fun with it this morning😄

and sometimes when you feel hungry, it's also because you're dehydrated! 😄 Erquiaga1, it sounds like you need more electrolytes 😄

I exercised a lot one day. I didn’t drink enough water and ended up in the ER the next day. My kidneys were shutting down. Very scary

@Erq...we have a water filter machine (definitely a worthy investment!). But even with that...I STILL have a hard time remembering to DRINK!! smh...

@superman...that's the whole idea! To flush out toxins, give water to your organs, & to keep everything balanced😎 Just think how many cals you burned running to the bathroom! 😉🏃‍♂️

@Erq...I add Propel powder with electrolytes to each glass...is that the same as mineral water?

I also work in some water, I assure you 😉. Especially when exercising. I'm also trying to remember to drink water during meals because coffee and tea can interfere with absorption of some nutrients. That said, my opinion (and I have read some things that back it up), is that coffee is gonna hydrate you, just not as well as water. Other than kombucha, I don't typically drink anything sugar sweetened, but I do drink more if there's some flavor to what I'm drinking. And I pretty much am drinking something non-stop throughout the day
