Lots of things going on this week. I started my new job and I have to say this place is amazing. One of the perks they have for employees is a state of the art fitness center with 3 floors and 2 pools. You can get massages as well as laying on a hydro massage bed. I haven't tried that yet but I will. We get an hour for lunch and they have drop in classes tailored to people's lunch hours. I think I may be in heaven. My building is only a block and a half away.
My husband surprised me with the most beautiful birthday gift. He got me this acrylic diaplay with all of these wonderful butterflies from the Butterfly Conservancy in Key West. We were there on our honeymoon and it was spectaclar. My mom sent me flowers and Jeff and I went to supper with his parents.
On a side note, I had been having a problem with a varmint getting into my sugar feeders for my bees. My father in law put a live trap out to catch what we figured would be a raccoon. Imagine his surprise when he went out to check it this AM and it was a skunk. Rumor has it he was a bit too stinky to go to his meeting at noon but he smelled just fine at supper tonight!
Life is good. I am thankful for a wonderful birthday and all of the greetings on FB from old friends in Michigan and new friends here.

Happy Birthday, Sherill! Your husband must be a bit of a romantic. What a lovely gift. It is so awesome that you like your new job and it has such great benefits! I hope you plan to make use of the fitness center and massages often. I also hope your stinky varmint is gone forever! Phew!

Sir Stinky is now pushing daisies! And I will reset the live trap tomorrow in the hopes of catching Rocky Raccoon.
My husband is very thoughtful. Someone else said what a romantic he was and when I told him that he just rolled his eyes! lol
