Hi Anne, Can I please ask, does Maximuscle particularly appeal to you and/or work better for you? I only ask because you mentioned liking the cheapest on the day, and that brand always seems super expensive to me. Thanks.

Hi Bearwood. I like Maximuscle as a brand and when I say cheapest, I mean the cheapest Maximuscle flavour/offer as opposed to the cheapest brand. It is expensive but I don't think less expensive brands are inferior. It is just that I have had good results with Maximuscle before so I stick with it. I find that protein powders work best for me when everything is on point.

What I mean by that is that protein powders won't compensate for a bad diet or lack of exercise but will supplement a good diet and support a solid exercise regime.

Thanks Anne, you're not lecturing at all. I agree that protein powders are just another way of meeting our target macros.

Ahhhhhhhh, don't encourage me!! Lol. But thanks, Piggy. I used to have clients once upon a time and got paid to boss them about. But here is different, one must watch their p's and q's in case someone takes offense!!

You are indulging me! I love talking about diet and exercise! I mostly eat fish and veg for tea. Porridge or brown toast with peanut butter for breakfast. Tomato soup, roll and cheese or tinned fish at lunchtime. Cheese and pickle toastie if I am out. Poached eggs on brown toast is my treat breakfast NO Ubereats or Justeat or takeaways in general. Everything else satellites off that combo.

Other must-haves are: omega seed mix, blueberries, hummus, olive flatbread, gin, diet tonic and lemon, Tunnocks tea cakes, soya or oat milk, kefir, oat bran, and protein powder. Now it is your turn, Piggy!

Anne 🤣 you can see what I eat cos I post pics - when I on here anyway! I don’t like oats they make me feel bad .. I avoid fermented or anything vinegar.. I’m not great with dairy but I do occasionally eat cheddar.. I dabbled with goats cheese which I like a lot but it sits like a rock in my stomach… I avoid peanuts generally as they aggravate a histamine response in me 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can be fine one minute & then get a swollen face for three days which I really, really try to avoid 🤨. I avoid tomatoes for the same reason 🤣.. I do like fresh fish tho & I eat chicken & eggs & also red meat too sometimes. I like Pepes for a take away (chicken fillet burger) but I also have never used Uber eats or any of the delivery services.. if I’m going to eat it I’m at least going to walk to get it!! I eat a lot of lettuce & cucumber & I do have spinach although it’s high in histamines… I do love it..I have black coffee but not too much..I like a scotch & water or a martini is very nice.. I love chocolate & find it hard to be moderate. So I rarely keep it in & walk to get it if I want it especially badly..I’m not bothered by crisps thankfully - I don’t mind a salted pretzel.. I do love salt tho…. 🤷🏻‍♀️🐽

Tunnocks tea cakes!!!!! I LOVE THOSE! Grew up with them on the island called Newfoundland in Canada!!! They are a childhood favorite and whenever my parents visit they bring me a box of maybe 24!

Very interesting, Piggy. I love how we are all so different but have the same goals.😀I agree 100% with what you say about walking to get your treats/takeaway. Blueberries are awesome. A real super food 😋

Basically Anne I just eat too much. Quantity wise. I really am a little piggy. 🐽🤦🏼‍♀️ Not always - but just enough times to shoot myself in the foot. This is what I’d like to change x
