Alright, it’s a Monday but I’m away from my scale so there will be no weight entry which is probably a good thing. Need a day or two to be back on plan. Spent a delightful weekend with family out of state and got to spend more time with my daughter (twice in two weeks!) so that was a fabulous bonus.

So it’s a new week and time for a fresh start, as LowkeyLife expressed so well. Spring is here though it was pretty cool and windy here on Saturday in New England.

I enjoyed reading everyone’s Mother’s Day greetings and posts although I was unable to add my own. Hope everyone had a wonderful day full of love. There are some amazing mommas and others in support roles (and a ton of really great Dads too!) on this site. There are many many people here whose journeys interest me and whose posts I read regularly although i haven’t officially “followed” them. I’m also not very good at responding to individual comments when I do post. But I do appreciate the feedback and encouragement so much!

Over the weekend I did want to post here but was unsuccessful. I tried to upload a graphic of some whimsical spring artwork of a flower and ladybug by Mary Engelbreit with the sentiment “Lighten the h*** up” (her caption) but the picture was rectangular and got chopped off into a square by FS so I had to delete it and give up. You can find the artwork on her website if so inclined.

I’ll close for now with this quote I also wanted to share.
