I have a slight weight gain of .2 this morning, after eating at friends house last night. Unamoyer calls it a "hiccup" :) But,I doubled my walk to 4 miles & *I* feel great! Confidant the "hiccup" will be no more. :) The new scenery was an awesome mood booster as well.....other people walking, jogging, biking or just enjoying the views of nature that surrounds the river....water,trees,a crane soaking in the sun as it crouched down its neck & remained as still as a statue, as if trying not to be seen while others swam gracefully on the river's water, looking much like swans only with long beaks. It was a great way to begin my day :)
Enjoy YOUR Monday!

My body is weird... the results from the scale of what I eat is usually a couple days later and not the next day.... and it is hard to know if I am loosing because I have been adding more exercise. I loved your post on baby steps... I don't want to beat myself up for things but to take everything a day at a time and focus on the main thing.

Im glad you "loved (my) post on baby steps"! I hope you enjoy the Group Post for the Core Challenge talking about "Adaption" :) You say that "the results from the scale of what (you) eat is usually ...days later....",that's fine because the point is that WHAT we eat WILL show up (on the scale & on our body) & it's usually AFTER the fact. Have YOUR plan CLEARLY outlined & the results will be less foggy .......more *defined* thus easier to "know". And if I may make a suggestion that *may seem* not an issue or no big deal but has proven time & time again to make major differences......LOOK CLOSELY at the way you speak to yourself &/or others about your body, what you are doing, how you *feel* about your body, what you eat, what you are doing, etc. When we treat ourselves as a friend, someone we love,it retaliates in kind. Our bodies are designed to obey us. That IS what our bodies do. Tell it,it's weird, stupid, fat,it WILL be weird, stupid, fat. All things are created FIRST in the mind. :)

Your walk sounds nice. Been doing my walking indoors because of the weather. Looking forward to spring already.
