Well company gone so no tempting extra treats around. Still holding 195. BP now after a hike and some chain sawing cleaning fallen trees off our creek trail is now 108 / 60. Amazing how alcohol can send BP soaring.

Thanks grammlaura you're doing pretty good yourself. That's a lot you have shed. I just completed a 3 hr & 12 min hike in the hills covering 11.2 Km and so far today 20,823 steps.

Not so great lately.🙁 There’s a reason I haven’t posted my weight lately. My over-indulgences of the last few months have caught up to me, big time. But I’m still always happy to celebrate the successes of my fellow FS members!

I think a lot of us no exactly what you mean "been there done that". I go that way for a while, especially if i am partaking that evil stuff. Then all of a sudden I say enough already and get motivated. My wife calls me an "all or nothing guy"; no half way measures. Good luck with it all; you'll get back in the groove.

Gramma Laura have you ever considered medication? Wellbutrin or vyvanse are great because they stop the urges to over indulge in food.

allanpendlebury, you’re a terrific role model for me. I don’t think I will see that kind of BP measure for a couple more months at least. However, you sure give me inspiration. Have a great day today🇨🇦😊

Maguscanook: Thanks. I don't think a day goes by where I don't feel appreciation for my health as I don't really deserve it. I feel for people who have led a healthy lifestyle and suffer many health issues. Actually i am an example of how the body is capable of recovering from a life of over indulgence. That being said; there are no guarantees from one day to the next. Actually the way the world is now I'm ready to get outa Dodge.😊
