Hello anyone who cares to know- I am fine. Totally recovered from covid. Not a ton of interest in FS right now but things are ok. I will start back maybe Feb 1 on here. Day 4 of the gym today and it was a fantastic workout. If there is a plus to having gained 43 pounds (gulp- yes you read correctly) it is that I am super strong again. I haven't been this strong since last time I was above 200. Definitely not worth it but still... trying to find a tiny glimmer of hope. I was just telling Melissa that at my age I planned to use lighter weights and just lift to failure and its not a competition but when I did my pull downs... I knew I had to make it heavier or I'd be there too long lifting to failure. I don't know what the usual difference is but it was about 20 pounds difference for me. Haven't noticed a big change in the other muscles besides back-except shoulders a bit maybe- in actuality I felt a little rusty on everything else from too much time off but I am praying muscle memory comes on strong and that it doesn't take 10 months to get it off just because it took 10 months to put it on. Happy Friday.

Glad you're getting better now.. We pretty much all got or will get the rona... Just like a bad flu .. Sooner or later we all get it. Lotta years ago when I was at a very good weight/muscle ratio, l got pneumonia... Dropped about 35lbs in two weeks or less.. Weight is what helped me through it. It's not always a bad thing. ⚖️🤔👍
