Happy Thursday to all. For anyone considering either a LCHF or Atkins type diet all I have to say it I've lost over 50 lbs in about 4-1/2 months. So the diet works although the Induction is tough and staying on plan can be difficult at times. Also it's important to log your food and count calories. I recommend manually adjusting your RDI to fit your weight loss strategy.

I myself am taking a month long break during October of strict dieting to add some foods such as beans and whole grains such as steel cut oats, Quinoa and wild rice to see how they impact my blood sugar. I'll still be staying below 50 net carbs as I'm diabetic and still want glucose control so I don't have to go onto insulin. I will also be maintaining my caloric restrictions and have increased my training volume to 6 days per week. I'm hoping everything balances. If not back to induction I go.

Remember that the best diet is the one you can stick with.
