Ooo good to know! There is one around here, a bit of a drive but worth a shot. Otherwise I'm stuck with publix, and they rarely have my favorites in stock (persimmons and lychee both grow in Florida so I find it odd, but maybe they're considered too niche?)

If you’re in Florida, find an Asian market. I didn’t know where you lived. I’d call Trader Joe’s and ask if it’s trip. I can get them at my Mexican fruit stand too.

It’s so funny. I can buy persimmons or I can wait for neighbors to beg random strangers to please take some. They put them out in boxes on the sidewalk. Same with pomegranates. Although I’ll be doing the same with my oranges in a few weeks. They’re slow this year, but they’re huge.

That's super cool! My brother is super into growing fruit, and trees. One of his recent additions to his property is called an, "Emperor Lychee Tree". I can't wait to visit him to try some of the fruits when they're in season!

Aaaaa how exciting!!!! In Orlando there's a garden that does plant sales once a year, and one vendor has beautiful lychee saplings. If only I had land, I'd get one in a heartbeat. I've tried growing lychee from seeds in large pots, but I never could get them to thrive
