This evening I did:
HASfit - 50 Min Full Body Workout with Dumbbells - Total Body Strength Workout with Weights at Home Training

An old favourite with a really steady pace and a good stretch after. I didn't have to modify anything with my 4kg dumbbells and could probably go up to 5kg at some point.

Went for a walk yesterday and will do one tomorrow as well - looks like the weather should be fine.

This week seems to be dragging a bit. I'm keen to get past all the end-of-year work so I can switch a part of my brain off and concentrate on other things I want to do before the new year arrives. So will try to finish the last couple of projects in the next week - and trying not to stress too much about it.

On a brighter note we have ordered a new blender/food processor, which should arrive by Friday. Kind of a joint Christmas gift for us both as we're not big on gifts. It means hubby can blitz his delicious soup and we can make our old favourites humus and falafel (mostly in the summer time though). It also has a dough hook, which I'm keen to experiment with. I also thought I'd get some cook books from the library to just peruse through during the holidays. I got rid of all of my old books, bar one muffin and bread book I got from a dear friend, and a few others I left at my sister's place in Cape Town until we can travel back and bring them over next time. I really enjoy having a physical book to page through and all the beautiful food shots so I hope I find some nice ones.

Another awesome workout! 👍 Oh your new blender/processor should be fun. I rend to like real books too, especially cookbooks. Thinning out my cookbooks is part of my 12 Days of Decluttering I'm doing with Gib. This will be my second edit of cookbooks! 🥴

Thanks Mermee! I'm not big on smoothies either. I think it will be things like being able to blitz dates and ground nuts that will excite me. And trying different pasta sauces and salad dressings. Cauliflower puree sounds yum too! 😊💕

Thanks Becca! 💕 It was quite hard getting rid of some of mine as I'd had them for a couple of decades already. Some others I hardly used or read so those were easy. It will make room for lots of new ones though so your 12 days of decluttering is a great idea! I want to 'travel light' from now on since we've downsized so I might just start a small flip file to keep some photocopies of my favourite recipes. Then I can still enjoy reading all the ones available at the library. Enjoy the ones you keep - they are priceless! 📑😊👍
