O.T. For diabetics! I joined TuDiabetes a long while back but have found a more active and fun site; Diabetic Connect Please send me a message if you join so we can connect :D

I obviously had some hidden ingredients (sugars, carbs and who knows what) when I ate out with a friend because the following morning my blood sugar was 151!! I've also added 4 lbs of water weight because of this so I'm in the process of getting my body back on track. Ya know, ya just can't trust the small town restaraunts! Here, there aren't any flyers stating the nutritional info of your order so it's all a guessing game. Ah well...at least my blood sugar is back where it should be. Now to lose the water weight.

Oh, that is a bummer, Ruby. Glad that you got your blood sugar back down. And that is a big reason that we don't eat out...well, that and the cost! lol

Wow I'm glad you got your blood sugar back down. Its hard to tell what they may put in foods these days. What with trying all kinds of ingredients to change things up a bit. Have a great evening....Bren

Thanks Stef, yeah bummer. I liked going out occasionally and not cooking sigh....but yes my blood sugar is good which I'm glad!!!

Oh Bren, the immitation foods are the worst but cheaper for food service, especially in this economy. I'll just have to make my own taco salad next time!
