Beginning to think the stroke counter on the rowing machine isn't that accurate: doesn't count every stroke. The timer may be off: it took nearly an hour on the machine to accumulate 30 minutes. I'm taking breaks during the commercials, but not that many breaks. On the other hand, about 20 minutes of a show are commercials. Maybe it would be better to run a separate timer.

I fell one dose behind on my Creatine loading yesterday. I'm going to have to drink more and earlier in the day rather than rely on catching up in the evening. Body fat (somewhat hydrated): 29.8, right there on the cusp.

Got six hours of solid sleep, one-and-half hours in drowse mode, no wide awake episodes. Forgot to do eight minutes of exercise to burn off glycogen first thing in the morning before eating but did do it later. I keep forgetting to put my pedometer watch on first thing in the morning. Cooler weather and lower humidity help. We don't have many days above 90 for a while. Those back-to-school sales are encouraging. Only three more weeks of summer as far as I'm concerned.

Twelve minutes of stretching in bed. Slacked off on strength training: 20 minutes of leg-strengthening exercises using dumbbells, two sets of 20 reps, lunge; two sets of 24 reps, sumo squat with 23-pound dumbell, wrist curls, two sets of ten reps with ten pounds. Cardio: 30 minutes on the Air Walk Trainer, 32 minutes on the rowing machine, 600 strokes, 967 steps.

I had skimmed The Alternate-Day Diet, but today I read the first part of the book for an hour-and-a-half as inspiration.

Half hour nap.

Tried on my Speedo surfer shorts. They're a little snug, but that's just an incentive to keep losing weight.

I decided to order some groceries through Amazon PrimePantry. It saves time and it doesn't expose me to temptations at Kroger such as f'real shakes, bistro meals, and day-old pastries that are cheap, cheap, cheap.
