Yesterday was 4 weeks since Ryan died. 4 weeks already. I think the first 3 were in a fog. Today I am going to the gym. See if I remember how to lift anything. See if I can get at least back to 185 by Halloween. Also plan to not eat everything in sight today. Fingers crossed. So far I am sticking to it but I have only been awake for 20 minutes. Happy Monday.
91.5 kg Lost so far: 21.4 kg.    Still to go: 0.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Thanks, everyone! Got in over 10000 steps and 45 minutes of lifting. I did a little of everything at light weight. I know regardless how light it was that I'll be sore tomorrow. Ate very well today. Unfortunately due to staffing issues, I'm working some third shifts and I already want to die and it's not even midnight. Hopefully today is the beginning of getting my mojo back and I'll go to the gym for a little longer tomorrow. We'll see. Again thanks for your kind words and support!❤️

Grief is a funny thing. Time seems to stop yet it actually doesn’t. It can hit with no warning after a few ‘good’ days. I lost my dad, mom and stepdad in 2011, 2013 and 2015 respectively and sometimes grief still sneaks up to bite me in the ass! Hopefully the staffing issues will be resolved soon! There are tons of job openings here but nobody wants to work or they refuse to work for $10-12/hr (cost of living here is fairly low and so are the wages). Every business I’ve been too lately has issues with too little staff! As for lifting, I feel you girl! I feel like a wienie lifting the bar only right now 😂. Felt even worse when I saw a little old man lifting 95# on flat bench. That’s the highest I could do regularly!! Back when I was in shape! Oh well. I get some looks but I know I need to go slow for the first few weeks (going once a week) so I don’t mess anything up and my elbow and shoulder are protesting just the bar! Muscles are fine but the joints don’t like it! Added 10# weights on the flat bench just to feel better about myself and that killed the arms! Was actually easier on the joints for some reason though! Gotta say I’m lowlife the little 5# dumbbells on lay raises! Those kill me and the soreness is limited with such light weights! My whole upper body hurts for 3-4 days after just the bar too!

YOu'll get stronger everyday. Chin up! We are all left behind by those we love. We will all be together soon one day, God willing. Have faith, keep the fire in your heart, smile, & be happy...Amen

Be gentle with yourself. I am glad you are motivated to go to the gym. Being in a familiar environment that resonates with you ought to be soothing. Go easy.
