Last night I decided to start following the MIT Carson Chow diet...I think...sounds right. I also altered my weight loss goal. I was a little bummed when my progress bar went from yellow to red, but I'm going to be honest with myself and just admit I need to lose 50 lbs. I was trying to trick my brain into thinking I was doing better than I am.

Feeling really down today. It seems my life can never get it's act together all at the same time. I got promoted to full time at one of my jobs yesterday which made me UBER excited! I'm going to get benefits and a company vehicle. Of course since my professional life took an uptick my personal life lost points. UGH! I'm a Libra so I like things to balance. This is not balanced. I'm excited about my new job and my new diet choice. I've just decided to take a Buddhist approach to my personal life and see that it was already broken before yesterday. I will now go on and just let things happen. I have no control over the next step and accept what the universe deals me. Life is about change. If it weren't I would still be a baby. I accept this new change. DON'T LIKE IT, but I accept it. Breathe in, breathe out.
