Up early and got a 8.4 mile walk under my belt - Trying to get lots of miles in this week to offset the calories for a meal out on Friday. No weight reduction to report.

The day yesterday out was nice but the garden a little underwhelming for the £11 entry also parents not keeping kids with them close enough to be mindful of CV risk to other people was a little annoying to me. I am a miserable bugger concerning poor parenting. We got caught mildly up in a traffic jam after a serious RTA on the A30 near Bodmin on the way back - I never moan about these delays knowing that people involved will have life changing situations to deal with.

Today food wise a pork stir fry for lunch and Beefburgers for dinner Mange tout and onions picked.

well done on ur walk 👏 and I have to say, though I'm a single parent myself and I know how hard it can be so I rarely judge, while we were at the beach yesterday paddling in the water, there is a fair (shocked it is allowed open) that is visiting the town and is up next to the park on the prom,,it was absolutely mobbed yesterday and so was the swing park, kids everywhere, and while I agree it's been rubbish for everyone and the kids have been such troopers with changes to school, friends&family visits, no activities etc and agree they all need some fun...there's no way I was going anywhere near it and my 9yr old daughter said the same to me,,think it was a bit irresponsible to allow the fair when some adults haven't even been vaccinated yet and none of the kids have, the rising numbers here is scary right now and I can assure u there was no social distancing whatsoever,,but how can I blame parents if the council aka government said it was ok?!!

Good for you for keeping away. I can obviously see that there are occasions where councils and government are torn between Covid safety and keeping businesses alive - It's impossible sometimes. The general though public do have a responsibility to follow guidelines set out as best they can. Lets face in pack form the public can sometimes be twats.

I would normally say 'each to their own' but I think when ur at risk of infecting others, this does not apply, I understand it's been a long slog and everyone is sick of it and it's lovely weather and we all want to enjoy it but people are forgetting (and the msg is being lost) that this is a life or death situation! A little patience and understanding goes a long way... If ppl haven't learned at least THAT through all of this,,,anyway Adpully,,we can only control our own actions and as long as WE are being considerate of others, we can be sure our loved ones will be safe ❤️
