2ManyCurves's Journal, 27 May 14

Crazy week. Did not get to journal much. Spent way to much time in the ER: Husband, daughter and son all on separate days. I will be paying medical bills the rest of my life. Anyway---keeping this brief:

Planned Workouts:

Tuesday: Zumba, weight training (completed before 8am) and bicycle - 13 miles

Wednesday: Run 5K. If I get out of work at a decent time, will also grab a zumba class in the evening.

Thursday: Zumba rush am plus weight training. Run 5K in evening.

Friday: Evening run. As far as I wanna go...

All things food plan:

100 grams protein per day. 3-5 servings of vegetables. Maintain a 1000 calorie per day deficit as compared to fitbit activity tracker. No specified limit on caloric intake though it normally falls around 1500 calories per day.

I'm going to start posting things I am grateful for when I journal to help me beat this depression:

So here goes:

1.) Son's injury could have been a lot worse. Thankful for an excellent trauma team and that the laceration didn't go through the muscle wall or damage any major organs.

2.) Husband is a nurse and can help me take care of son. And, I'm generally thankful just to have a supportive, loving husband.

3.) Daughter's lab work all turned out negative. Symptoms must've been a fluke.

4.) I get vacation in less than ten days now.

5.) My clothes are falling off of me. Literally. I don't know how much I've lost in pounds, if any at all, but I'm now sporting my teenage daughter's shorts as she has outgrown them. She's almost 16 and 6 foot tall. I'm happy she has passed down her size 10s to me.

6.) Laundry is caught up and the house is clean.

7.) My dogs love me.

8.) I can climb onto my son's steer wrestling horse without using any steps or buckets.

9.) Plenty of healthy groceries in the fridge.

10.) Sunshine.

I hope everyone has a great day. I will try to get caught up on reading journals later.
