I am trying something new this week because the way I have been eating is not working for me and not maintainable.
I have been scared to eat too many calories during the day and doing ok for a while but then getting so starving that i`d eat anything I could get my hands on! Plus I`d tell myself I better eat it all now because tomorrow it`s forbidden again!
I will eat a healthy, filling breakfast instead of just apples all morning, lunch and dinner too and fruit and almonds as snacks.
1 treat size cherry ripe is fine but not 10!!!
Now I just have to do it!
Sorry to my Buddy the love of fit for I won`t be weighing in today(too scared)but should be back on track by next friday!

I always hear about breakfast like a king then dinner like a pauper. For me eating much befor noon is nauseating, which is why I eat a light breakfast. I think it's important to try new angles, but also important to listen to our bodies and eat when we are hungry, not when we aren't. I'm glad you are changing things instead of getting frustrating or trying to push through. Good for you recognizing what you needed to change =)

I understand, I'm pretty scared as well. I appreciate the journal shout out, though! :) I hope you can forgive yourself calories during the day to help subdue that sugar low that's so hard to fight at night. Goal this week - let's work on adjusting our diets to something that's manageable and realistic

You're definitely right on that! It's very difficult to fight our own will. It's much more manageable to find ways to make it easier and cheat our appetite or just exercise more :P. Never letting yourself go hungry is very important. I usually also snack on almonds but I'm thinking that I have to get something with a better calorie-to-satedness ratio :P. Almonds are definitely very practical though and they do keep you from going hungry! :) I have to start eating more carrots. I think I'm gonna buy some tomorrow! lol.

Almonds also burn alot of calories while digesting themselves so you can subtract a few calories though i'm not sure how many!

Wow! I didn't know that! That's a great thing to learn now that I'm at an "nut-abuse" phase lol. I hope that applies to all the other nuts as well! :D

Walnuts have something really good too will have to look it up again though i can't rememberbit off by heart.;-)
