Ingria's Journal, 18 Feb 14

Was locked out of the site for some time again. Hate it. I can log food and exercise on mobile app, but cannot post any comments or journal on main site for days in a row.

Had a nice long weekend. Played, cooked, had a nice VD dinner with DH, etc. Still not feeling well - some kind of low grade inflammation going on, joint and muscle pain, throat is still irritated. Not sure if it is aftermath of a cold or I am getting some allergies. As a result, i feel very tired after work outs, even the lightest ones.

Was shopping on line for an exercise tracker. I need some kind of mobile app that would allow me to track repetitions for certain exercises day by day and see if I am able to make a progress. I do not care how many calories it burns. I am trying to add these activities throughout the day, not just go to the gym and exercise for an hour, so I need a way to track how many repititions I did during the day, or I just forget doing it. I used to keep a spreadsheet at work, but it would be nice to have something more portable that I can use when I am not at my desk. The goal is to get away from it. . Everything that I checked so far is too complicated. I do not need support or motivation, i just need something basic that allows me to remind myself to move around during the day.

I'm not a gadget guru so I'm sure someone will wade in here - just wanted to say I'm glad you're back and I hear things like 'fitbit' may do what you're wanting?

No help there. There are a some apps out there for phones but don't know anything about them.

Good luck on your hunt. If you find something you like I'd be interested in looking into it for myself. I get what you mean. Sometimes you don't need feature bloat; you just need simplicity, an easy to use tool that can do 1 or 2 specific things well. Take care!
