Depression fucking city. I am spiraling down and do not know what brought it on this time. I have to pull myself out of it but do not know how. I really do not know what is wrong with my marriage. My husband does not even notice.

It must be something in the air. This weekend I was depressed & on Sunday I felt like crying 😢 I couldn’t figure out specifically why.

Speak up. Talk to him. He is a guy, if you don't say anything there is a huge chance he won't know!

Don't forget to reach out to medical professionals. With all the purposeful chaos that has been brought onto this nation (and world) anxiety and depression is off of the charts. Seeking some help, if even over the phone resources, might help. Take very good care of yourself.

Agree with speaking to your husband and a health professional. Sometimes we need a little more help. It could be a snowballing of multiple things. The change in weather (and less sunlight), the uptick in covid cases, the upcoming holiday season... it’s a lot. But support can definitely help. You’re not alone. Wish you all the best. 🌸

I’m sorry that you’re struggling. I’ve been going through something similar. My doctor checked my vitamin D levels and I had a severe deficiency. I had muscle pain, migraines, and depression (all vitamin D deficiency symptoms). I’ve started taking vitamin D3 pills per my doctor and I’ve noticed a huge improvement. Long story short, it’s been a weird year and it is 100% okay to ask for help. I would seriously talk to your doctor and have them run some blood work and also look for a mental health professional. You are absolutely worth it ❤️

Thank you all for your kind comments. The fog lifted a bit today. It is on it's way out, I can tell. Just as I do not know what brought it on, I cannot tell you why it is leaving. But today, was a better day. Tomorrow I will journal my progress and in general will journal more. Vitamin D is an interesting suggestion and I will look into it. Thank you. Talking to my husband or anyone is out of the question, because I feel like such a lazy, ungrateful, and useless person when sadness comes over and I do not want to burden others .

My heart reaches out to you. That vitamin d and magnesium helped me a lot. I also take mine with calcium. Take it at night time

Yes, check out Vitamin D3. I've been taking it for several years and feel much better with it, especially in the winter
