you look great. I do better looking at my body apart from seeing my face for some reason. I'm less critical, especially if it's a silhouette vs. a reflection where I don't immediately recognize myself. try it. our brains are really weird about some things.

Just remember where you started and you'll see just how far you've come. I know it won't seem that way to you, but you're making progress and you will achieve the goals you set for yourself.

What you have been doing is working well for fat loss. Added training will help develop a more shapely and better functioning body, as well as improving your health. Find something you enjoy that you can steadily get stronger and better at doing. Weights are simple and direct, but a dance class with progression to more difficult routines, or a good yoga class are options as well. Consistent work (show up every workout) while striving to improve is the key.

You look great! Just keep doing what you’re doing. Even though our bodies can make dramatic transformations, what’s inside of us takes so much longer. Stick with it and you’ll gradually feel better about you. I still feel like a fat man inside so you’re not alone!

I think what helps is letting go of any sort of "idealized" image in your head of how you want to look. I'll give you an example. Somewhere along the way, I got it in my head that I wanted to have a physique like Ronaldo. What I really wanted was that 'kind' of physique: lean but muscular, with a low body fat percentage. It's not a bad goal because he's super fit and has a great physique, but our bodies are different and my fittest body will look different from his. I'll never look like that but it's OK because I'm meant to. It took some getting used to but eventually I just accepted this fact. Just focus on becoming the fittest and healthiest version of YOU. Because at the end of the day, the most beautiful and esthetically pleasing physique is a fit body, no matter if your shoulders are broader, if your hips are wider, or if your bust is bigger (or smaller) than you would like. Love yourself in everything you do, be kind to yourself and you'll find it easier to become more comfortable in your new body. I know it feels like you're in a stranger's body, especially if you've been used to being a certain way for a long time. Take It from a guy who's lost 50 lbs and gained it all back again. Eventually you'll get used to the body over time, and it won't be as strange anymore. Good work and great progress!

You look good in the “before” picture but you have improved and you look great in the “after” photo! Sorry I focused on the advice request in my previous comment.

Pics of yourself can be hard to see, but they can help motivate others, too!

I think there is too much pressure on us women to look perfect. You look great! Almost every woman I know has a little tummy. I refer to this as the baby basket. It's perfectly normal! But I totally understand wanting to improve. When I went to PT they had me do exercises to strengthen my core by lying on my back with knees bent feet on the floor then push the small of my back into the ground. It's more of a pelvic downward tilt so there is no longer a gap between you and the floor. picture pulling your bellybutton down into the ground. you should feel the abdominal contract if you do it right. They had me start with a set of 10 holding for a count of 5 secs. Then for the next set you can add arm movements like you would if making a snow angel holding the abs in position the entire time for 10 snow angels. Then the last set you can hold your abs in place with arms to your side and raise each leg to a 90 degree angle knee remains bent but keep that gap closed between your abs and the floor the entire time. Do 10 with each leg. This may not seem like it would do much but trust me it does work!!! I'm not sure what these are called. Kind of like a modified reverse plank??? I'll see if I can find a video and send the path.
