So... I had to fast for 8 hours, watch sugar and sodium, and drink lots of water prior to this life insurance physical. I expected to be down in weight, but surprisingly, I'm up a little. Weird. One day, I'll understand how my body works...

Anyway, I'm feeling pretty good because my waist measurement is back under 34" - which means my fat % is dropping under 16% (according to the navy fat calculator, which is, of course, just an estimate - my waist measurement, however, is a fact!). I'm trying to hit 33" before April, 2014. Getting from 34" was not that hard (I'm probably forgetting a lot of the misery), but getting under 34" has been very difficult - I keep bouncing up and down. Trying to gain muscle and lose weight is a balancing act, and I have to remember to be patient.

Anyway, I'm going to try not to rebound today - I'm really hungry after the fast.
