So, I was thinking it's goal time again.
My big, big short term goal........One-derland, or pretty close to it, by New Years eve. But in the meantime, I must make small goals to keep me going...the small goals may seem like micromanaging a little, but they really do make me feel like I'm accomplishing something.

So, my next goal= GOAL #1-219, as that will put me in the 210's. (4lbs away)

Goal #2=215, as this is 10lbs down by Thanksgiving challenge goal. (8lbs from now) I hope to hit this by THANKSGIVING.

Goal #3-213....I will be down 50lbs at that point. (10lbs from now).

Goal #4=208 by Christmas Day....that will be 55lbs down. (15lbs down from now).

This puts me pretty dog-gone close to One-derland by New Years Eve.
If I lose more..great! I will hit 199 by the end of the year.....but if I don't, I am reallllllllllly close, and I will take that as a victory. Hitting my 208 goal would mean that I have lost 55lbs from July 23-December 31st this year. And that is STILL something to be VERY proud of.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with short term goals. It can be quite daunting to keep looking at your ultimate goal weight. Sometimes we have to look at smaller, closer goals to get to where we want to go. I like the goals you've set for yourself. Small, easily accomplished goals! "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" We are on this journey together!!! I'm proud of what you've done so far!! Keep up the great work!!!

I didnt want to set goals for myself that were gonna make me get discouraged or depress me. Thinking about how far I still have to go gets me down and this way, I am setting myself up to succeed at regular intervals. :)
