ok, well Happy Friday to ALL in FS-Land. I'm doing ok. Even though that IT box still didn't go down back to where it was before but at least it went down from yesterday. Now I'm 161.4 which is ok. Considering I went out to lunch with a friend yesterday. BUT I stayed with what I planned on eating. It is a good idea to know where you are going and check their menu online & make your decision BEFORE going. When we got there I only needed to ask a couple questions, what was the veggie of the day? (broccoli), plain? yes, no sauce but they can add if wanted (NO! thankyou), does the burger have any fillers added? (no just salt & pepper seasoning) which I decided would be ok, but NO Bun, (no problem) & the burger veggies on the side (tomato, onion, lettuce) NO mayo or dressing. I brought a small container (baby food jar) of my own (homemade mayo & balsamic) waitress smiled and said that was fine and 'good idea' :-) This is a place that is known for their wide selection of craft & regular beers (although I'm not a big beer connoisseur but I have drank a bunch of it before!) I resisted any and was satisfied with my water. Love water! Plus it helped that the friend I was with is also watching what she is eating. Granted I was 'eyeing' her coleslaw and home made toasted bun for her burger, mayo & catchup (full of sugar). Thank goodness she didn't get the fries! BUT I know I can have my own home made coleslaw on my next PV (protein veggie) day which will be tomorrow (today is P=Protein Day). Which I am looking forward to making with fresh cabbage and scallion, celery seed & homemade mayo, YUM :-)
I went for my long walk on the beach this morning and it was day 1 of the County Ocean cleanup which I volunteered for. Since we are not socializing (due to Covid) in groups I did my stretch of beach (2 miles) alone, but enjoyed talking to Our Mother Ocean, little ghost crabs & the birdlife that accompanied me :-)
So I'm doing good today ;-)
