I have a 6,400 kcal surplus this month 😳. Yet I still lost 1/2#. Since vacation and surgery all happened in the last several weeks I went back and checked my previous weight. I was just over 120 so I’m still up 1# for the last month and a half. During that time I’ve had a 16,000+ surplus!! If I’d have been able to go to the gym the last 7 weeks it would’ve been more like a 10000-12,000 surplus and I’d probably be back to 120 lol.
Now I’m really REALLY hoping I didn’t lose muscle and gain a ton of fat lol. Scale shows about the same so I should be fine. Now to decide which is more important, staying under 120 or eating a big surplus each month. Based on the numbers I’d say a surplus haha.
