Its a lovely cool Thursday, and I need to get my butt moving today!!
The Physical Therapist discharged me yesterday, so yay!! no more abuse to my poor little bruised butt!!

We've been taking care of the UTS neighbors dog again this week. She really is a sweetie!! A bouncing, noisy, long clawed ball of energy!! I wish I could play with her more, but she just tires me out!!! Her daddy really needs to go get her claws trimmed!! I would do it for him, but she has black claws, and its so hard to see the quick on dark claws! lt gives me a little bit more exercise everyday this week though!

Tomorrow is Dr office and weigh in, and my own morning weigh in. I am also planning on hitting the gym again, and getting that much needed haircut!! I told the hubby what I was going to do, and about the cut and he said" Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that you are doing that for me !!" LOL!! The little brat!! I smacked him, and he laughed, and then said that he knows it is important to me, and that it makes him proud of what I'm trying to do, and how well I'm doing!! Lordy, I love that man, and his sense of humor! Writing this reminded me to call the salon, and i have to wait until Wednesday, but that's still ok!!

My stylist is really booked up, and I don't trust too many people to do my hair!! I guess that comes from my former work history of being one!! It will feel wonderful to get it done, as right now I have my hair slicked back with a plastic hair band keeping my hair out of my eyes!! Looks really crappy!! I know it will have a lot of the grey showing then too, but with my hair this long, it kind of hides it, and honestly looks a little dirty all the time!! I have no qualms about showing that grey, I earned every one of those!!

I managed to get 3 pints and one half pint of sweet pickled peppers canned yesterday. I plan on doing the rest today, with a little twist. I'm adding some onion and carrot to the jars too. We'll see how it is in 4 weeks. The brine tasted good though, so it should turn out ok. I need to get some more garlic powder, as I used the last of mine yesterday.

Enough with the journal and me rambling, I need to get up and let Precious off the porch to go potty!! Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Congrats on being released from PT! Hope your weigh in went well. I'll have to read ahead to find out. Can we get a pic when you get your haircut? Bet it will feel good. I know it does when I get mine done. I do my own anymore since I hate spending that much every six weeks. And the style I have is very easy. Hope you're doing good. Take care!
