Spent all day planning our trip to Europe. Even though we booked first leg last weekend, we ran out of time and left the second leg for this weekend. So it took 2 days to book a 14 day trip. You start appreciating semi-extinct travel agents. Now I need to start packing as we are leaving in less than 2 weeks. My DH did not really want to go and tries to ignore my activities. He had to go on 2 business trips last months and would rather stay at home for a change. But I've been waiting for my autumn trip for a year and would not miss it.

I never had a chance to explain my vacation from FS. We moved. We bought a new house, and between buying, selling, remodelling, etc, I was without a kitchen for two and a half months eating at work or out. It is quite surprising that I did not gain more weight. Maybe heavy box lifting helped. We are still partially unpacked and I am in no hurry to put everything in perfect order. Looks like I am getting older and wiser. 20+ years ago when we bought our previous house I did not miss a beat until everything was perfect.

Love the new house. We did not plan to move, but saw it, fell in love and bought it. It is very peaceful, with a large lot and plenty of shade. I hope I will be able to plant some flowers and fruit trees. I probably should start with herbs. We have a huge grapefruit tree, hence the introduction of grapefruit juice into my diet. I like grapefruit but not to the point of buying them regularly. However harvesting them and juicing fresh fruits just of the tree is a lot of fun. They are very juicy and sweet. I lost my lemon and lime trees and all my rose bushes though. There is plenty of space for all of them in the new yard, but I have to plan wisely. The lot is much bigger than what I had before, and I cannot just plant as much as I can fit into the yard, which was my old landscaping approach.

Anyway I feel relaxed and lazy. I do not want to go anywhere, but prefer to spend time in the yard enjoying the sun and warm weather.
