bizzybee38's Journal, 12 Nov 10

I'm tired. I've been going at this walking challenge for longer then 4 weeks now and it is difficult. The toll that this is taking on my body is amazing. You would think that just walking was be an easy task, but it isn't when you are doing it seven days a week. I was getting up to the point where I could run, but the past couple of days I can only run a little. 1. Because despite stretching my calves are burning like crazy. 2. I'm too tired to run, I do as much as I can but I walk a lot more these past days. Maybe I'm not getting enough sleep, I'm not sure.

I'm worried a lot about the scale. It's crazy, but I am a worrier so I think about how I'm going to lose the next two lbs for the week. Last night I woke up at 2:00 AM and I had a glass of chocolate soy milk and a potato dinner roll with chicken salad on it (Didn't write it in my food journal). What is wrong with me?? I was starving. I was discussing with a co-worker that I'm not eating enough calories throughout the day. My calories are usually 1000 or under daily. Am I burning more so therefore I am more hungry? I don't know, but I walked up four flights of stairs for 10 minutes in order to burn off some of the calories I ate in the middle of the night. I will also do my 8 minute abs this evening (which I hate doing at night) after I get off the treadmill for 60 min. I'm tired, I'm stressed about the scale and I joined another challenge (Biggest Loser). I'm already doing most of the things on the challenge list so I figure once I finish the walking challenge I can continue through the new year with this one. I'm looking to lose the weight, but I don't know if I'm being obsessive (which I can easily do) or determined. If anyone reads this journal entry I welcome all comments.
