So, instead of writing this on my desk calendar, I decided to make an "official" goal list for myself. I am setting small goals on purpose...to keep me motivated and to not get too discouraged about the still long road ahead.I am down 30lbs now from my starting weight of 262.8 on July 23, 2013.

Goal #1-My next goal is pretty easy....get to the 220's.
That's a loss of 3lbs from now, to get to 229.

Goal #2-My next goal after that is pretty quick.
The day I got married I weighed 226, so my goal is 225.
That is a 4lb loss from previous 229 goal.

Goal #3-The next goal for myself will be 212, as that would be halfway to one-derland for me-that's only 13 lbs from the 225 goal.

Goal #4-This is the biggie....I will need to lose 13lbs from my last goal to see the "1" at the beginning of my weight. I will be 199 when I meet this goal. When I make it, that means I will have lost 63.8lbs.

After I make it to One-derland, I will set a new set of goals for the 34lbs I have left after that.

Great idea to set those goals notjune. I've been setting little goals for myself too. I started here in July too. I had already lost 15 pounds. I've lost an additional 27 pounds since coming to this site!! Everyone here is so great and great motivators!! I set my first goal kind of high, but its getting closer every day. My first goal is to reach 200. After that, I'm going to set my second goal to 165. I'll be happy there. I know it should be a little lower, but hey, I want to be healthy, not super skinny and sick!!! I want to have feminine curves!! Keep up the great work!!!

We are really diet buddies, as my first BIG goal is to get to 199...but my final goal weight is 165 like yours! Also, I had some health issues too that kept me from exercising for a long time (2+ years!). I dont want to be skinny either. If I go below 155-ish, I look sickly. Luckily, I am truly "big boned" and 165 for me means a size 10 jeans (misses, not juniors lol). I can live with that :D

Good for you to set a goal weight, it gives you somewhere to go. My phone app I can put a goal weight in it and it reminded me how far till I get there. You are not alone.
