About today..... packed a super healthy lunch in my purple bento box🤗🤗💜💜 left over shish kabobs, hummus and feta to put on top😋 An Atkins cranberry and almond bar, wasabi and soy sauce almonds and 🦃 jerky. Huge organic 🥥 💧. It was super busy this morning. Started the day with a totally positive Covid patient. This is what I have been explaining with the biohazard bag outside of the door. I had to close myself in the room and sanitize it for like 10 minutes and had to disrobe, close the bay for 6-8 hours. It’s really starting to take a toll on my soul 😔 I’m thankful this patient has no underlying conditions 🙌 he should fair well🤞🤞 I could barely eat. I had 3 bites of the kabobs, ate the Atkins bar and had 5 almonds, no jerky. Did get all the 🥥 💧 in. Ended the day with a patient who attended a July 4th party, the host is positive and patient had a 101.9 temperature 🤒😩 I love what I do, but I’m feeling it lately. It’s so heavy😔❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏 to all!! Please stay safe and healthy 💜💚

Thanks Pam ❤️ I won’t discuss politics, especially when dealing with sick patients and being quarantined myself 2 times. They were saying 140,000 deaths by the end of the month😞😞 it could reach that by the end of tonight or tomorrow afternoon. You are right with the Spanish flu, sadly, this will have an impact the same or higher before it’s over. Every state is doing something different. Some have fines, some not. People are throwing Covid-19 parties 😫😫☹️☹️ The first to get diagnosed by a physician wins the cash pot and it’s happening in many states because the young feel like they will have no to mild symptoms!! Oh my word, a 30 year old from Texas... last words to the nurse” I think I made a mistake, I thought it was a hoax.” She died the next morning 🥺😫😩 oh my friend, people need to do the right thing!! Opening doesn’t mean live like normal. It means social distancing and 😷. We went from red to yellow, to green here in Pa. Green doesn’t mean go.

It’s ok Pam❤️ I’m just saying that I won’t discuss politics friend. It’s a black whole I won’t go down, even before this horrible 🦠. I seen politics rip family and friends apart when I used to be on FB. My focus is just being kind, it’s killed without discrimination to whatever political affiliation, race, gender, age, etc. You’re definitely entitled to your thoughts 🥰💜💚 

Oh sweet mama. 💖💖 It’s just insane what you have to go through every day at work. I feel like I shouldn’t complain at all because I get to stay home with my family where it’s safe while you are battling this horrible virus and saving lives on the front lines every week. I don’t blame you for losing your appetite, but that lunchy does look perfect in that cute little bento box. I hope you had a good nourishing dinner when you got home tonight. You are so strong and so brave. 🙌🏻 

Lil 🧜‍♀️ luvie, it’s ok. You have an absolute right to feel scared. I wish more people were and took precautions😩 my mind is blown sometimes. I would never change my career in healthcare, but I never experienced a pandemic before in my life. It’s scary and when you work health care, you feel for patients, because we are all human and have a story. You listen and you support everything you see from a sprained to broken ankle, an STI. And with the STI, sometimes you’re like what happened to social distancing,( recently) but really, people go through it like usual. You get patients where up front, they say Covid concerns, we get patients who will be listed for something,then when roomed...” By the way, my spouse and I have been sick with flu symptoms, but it’s summer so it’s not the flu, we are waiting on results. It’s scary as all get out luv. We do what we need to with hand washing, hand sanitizer, gloves and goggles for every patient, it’s nice having the heads up for the N95 and gown. Every patient with flu like symptoms, that’s what I do. It’s the ones back in the room who are all like.. by the way. I’m exhausted 😔 But I wouldn’t change a thing about what I do. 🙌❤️😷😷💜💚 

Dinner didn’t happen, it’s hot and I came 🏡 and had to leave my shoes on the porch, change and clean myself. Tonight was supposed to be salads. It is so hot here. Hubby and the kids changed there mind and wanted calzones and white pizza 🍕 with broccoli and tomato. I packed mine for food tomorrow for my shift. I’m exhausted, but I’m up.  

Stay 💪, diligent, and safe freind and try to get some rest!!!!💜💜💜

I agree with you totally and I too wish more people would take better precautions as well. My husband and I are super careful. Thank you for what you do every day. I appreciate you and the other health care workers so much. God bless you all! I pray for you all every day. Take care, be well and safe dear.

Hang in there JC - so dangerous. i cannot imagine having to face it every day at work. i take so much for granted and am grateful there are those, like you, who are giving the rest of us so much in order to be safe.
