I ate a lot yesterday. Needless to say once I hit the dessert table at my hubby's picnic I was done for. I didn't do too horribly, for the most part I just had a spoonful of salads and desserts, but then we got home and I ate a cookie and a serving of oreo cheesecake. What was I thinking?!

I couldn't wake myself up this morning for my workout. I had 2 dogs who just didn't want to sleep last night and I think being out in the heat for a few hours yesterday made me really sleepy too. After work I will get the workout done. My BIL and SIL will be coming this evening but I should have enough time to get the workout in before they get to our house.

Tomorrow the kids and I are hopefully going to be able to FINALLY get to the zoo with my friend and her kids. It's supposed to be like 100 so it will be hot and there will be lots of walking, so that's going to be my workout tomorrow. But, I just hope I don't undo all that walking eating junk later. My hubby is smoking some pork for dinner and I'm sure we'll have dessert, and I already told the kids I'll take them for ice cream after the zoo. And, after the long week an adult beverage may be in my future too.

Everything in moderation and you'll be fine! Plus... a small soft serve cone really isn't all that bad. It's when you add all the stuff to it that it gets dangerous. :) Enjoy your weekend and the zoo! If all else fails shove a bag of baby carrots in your pocket ;)

Sounds like you have had a busy week. Dieting gets frustrating after a while huh? You have been doing so good at the exercising, even if you only maintain this week you will be okay. Just jump back on the train and do better next week.

One day of indulgence won't kill all your hard work. . . and you'll probably sweat that all out at the zoo tomorrow! Have fun and drink lots of water!
