I had an amazing time at Zumba this morning; Gina was back from her travels and taught a kick a$$ class/dance/party.

Luckily my foot is still healing (if too slowly) well enough for me to dance my booty off, achieve that endorphin ecstasy (without chocolate, lol), sweat a river, smile until my face ached, laugh with joy, feel like a part of a greater whole. Kind of like when I used to climb mountains; almost a religious experience. :o)

Gina is the best instructor I've ever had the pleasure of dancing with. She's gorgeous, dances like everyone wishes they could, ;o), connects with everyone while being the consummate professional.

She travels for Zumba business, so her return to us here is always a joyous occasion with the room packed full of people and anticipation. Other Zumba instructors show up. We have an awesome party, what more can I say?

So, I did my stretches & rolling at the gym, then came home full of energy. I baked bread, did laundry, watered plants. Entered three recipes into my cookbook before deciding on some moist buttermilk corn muffins to go with the ground turkey breast chili I'm making for dinner.

I'm doing well with my eating, and I've burned a whole lot of calories. The extra weight is dribbling off; I'll weigh in soon.

Gotta get up & make the chili before my partner comes home!
