ugh...I feel so beat up today!!!

I am so horribly sore today!!! That little sweetheart from PT really worked me over yesterday!!! I felt ok when I left the office, and even went later that day to the gym. Felt ok, then got home, ate supper, watched a movie with the hubs, and couldn't get up off the couch!!!! My back was so locked up it wasn't funny!!! It reminded me of my first day working as a housekeeper for Holiday Inn!!!

I had one hell of a time this morning just getting out of bed too!! It's finally loosening up!!! I really hope that isn't going to be the norm from going to PT!! Well, I have to look at it this way,, those muscles were really weak, and they got a good work out, and this will make them stronger. The soreness will subside, and I get to do it all over again on Friday.

This is a case of the good outweighing the bad. Kind of like the diet. I could just say the hell with the pt, it makes me too sore to move, I quit, its too hard to deal with. Sounds kind of like me with dieting. Its too hard and too much effort. I don't like to exercise, its too hard and I get too tired and sweaty. I'm hungry, I don't care what that darn diet said, I'm eating it anyway, cause I'm hungry.

Sound familiar?? I just have to get my head right with this PT. I know I'll walk better, and not limp so much, or not at all!! I know this will make my back muscles stronger, my core and abs stronger!! The good its doing far outweighs the bad sore muscles!! Thats temporary!! I need to look at it this way too, I'm getting extra fat burning exercise!! Those sore muscles are proof of that to me. I don't get sore from my pool exercise, because I'm semi weightless. I am moving the muscles, and burning calories, but just not at the rate I am in PT.

Enough of my whining. Its a beautiful day outside!! I made Crock Pot Chicken last night and I have leftovers that I'm going to make into soup!! Debone the chicken, add water and a little more veggies and there you go!!! Two meals from one!!

Have a great day everyone, and thanks for letting me whine a little!!! Keep fighting that diet battle!! I'll be right here ready to back you up!!!

oh, yes. "That" sore. It's painfully nice. It hurts so much, but you get this feeling of accomplishment and makes you proud of yourself. Same here: when I started going to the gym... GOD!!! MERCY!!! My back, and arms, and legs... my whole body sore! I felt exhausted. But it'll get better, and remember: no pain, no gain... errh.. I mean: no lose. hehe
