I'm almost breathing a sigh of relief that the weekend is over. I wrestled all weekend with the Fat Monster, and I think he won most of the time. However, I did manage to exercise some restraint here and there; I may have lost a few battles, but my indulgence did not cost me the entire war. It was brutal, but the flag still waves, and I'm still in the game! My ace in the hole was going to be my workout last night. I moved into Stage 3 where I run for 3 min, and walk for 3 min; Repeat 5X. I got dressed out, climbed up on the treadmill to do my workout, but I ran into one problem after another. I noticed that the workout I had created did not have enough repetitions in it, so I deleted it, went upstairs and created another program, and spent the next hour and a half trying to get the treadmill to hook up to the internet and download the program. I just could not get the treadmill program to cooperate. I got some exercise in, just running up and down the stairs to reboot the wireless hub, reboot the treadmill, and repeating the process over and over again. No joy. I should have just run in manual and called it a day. By the time I got done screwing around, it was too close to bedtime to do the workout. It was frustrating, but I'm just one of those guys that can't stand to be beaten by a machine, and I was determined to win. I lost.

Today, I'm back on track. Everything is going to go as planned. My intake will be well below my RDI, the treadmill will work fine, and the price of gas will drop 20 cents a gallon. Well, I'll take any 2 of the 3. Well, that's all I have to say. Who reads this nonsense anyway?

I got the hell beat out of me this weekend too. At the in laws cabin bored and eating the hell out of average to below average food -- not good -- back on track today -- pump it up.

I hear you, Ryan! It's that maliciously delicious crap that tries to take us out of the ballgame. I never get bored and say, "Man, if I'm going to blow it, I might as well go all the way and have some of that wonderful broccoli, cauliflower or zucchini." Nah! Well, Sk1nny, it worked tonight; won this one. Pump it up!
