My Diet Coke can says it contains 0 calories, 0 g total sugars, and 0 g added sugars. Sugar is not included in the list of ingredients. Nutritional labeling is mandatory here too.

Please cite credible source for your claim. It doesn't sound right.

If there's sugar in a drink then there has to be calories.

Diet sodas work great with me, Although I don't have many options now, because I decided to be "caffeine free". But sodas is not something I am addicted to, so I am ok with that. Most of the time I drink decaf coffee.

Thomas Delauer on youtube makes great videos on explaining the reasons and cites the sciences of why some artificial sweeteners are worse than real sugar in contributing to fatty liver disease and other metabolic diseases check him out. Some of that stuff is just straight poisonous because our body can't handle the breakdown of it and treats it as such and causes more inflammatory symptoms. I encourage you to educate yourself the science is out there and while we take all information with a grain of salt, reputable sources and evidences should be the source material to base facts on to help us make to better healthy choices for healthy living. Good luck 👍🏾

Well, even if my "0 calories" per serving size of one can of soda actually represents 4 calories per can, I'm good with it! That said, none of my cans of soda list sugar in the ingredients list, not even as a trace amount item at the end of the list. More importantly, I've just discovered that the cans now include stated amounts of caffeine per can, which I don't recall having seen on labels years ago. I'm fascinated to learn that Pepsi Zero has twice as much caffeine per can as do Coke Zero and diet Pepsi and 50% more than Diet Coke has. I've been treating them as if they were roughly the same in caffeine content, and I'm surprised by how different they are. TIL! Thanks for pointing me towards reading the labels again.

I mean, the most it could have is one gram if it only has 4 calories. I googled it and can't find a single page advising there are calories or any sugar.

I probably burn 4 calories every time I set my can down and look all over the house because I've forgotten where I put it. I guess I can live with that. 🤔

This "diet " thing is like religions. Everyone believes what they want to believe. And it's hard to make someone changes his/her way of thinking. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Oh well! 🤪 I am soo happy with my diet drinks, and they are not the reason I gain weight.

And Nooo, when it's about diet beverages I don't want to educate myself. I am happy drinking them 😜😅

Melissa, "some researchers found that people who drink diet beverages are 3 times more likely to develop Alzheimer. 😄 Not my words.

I have to say that I am that person who doesn't believe everything I read or heard.
