Saw this cute shirt at the store the other day and thought I grabbed a small. Turns out I grabbed an XS! Was sure it wouldn’t fit but it did! Paired with silky soft Nike leggings.

At the gym today I looked at my butt and realized I’ve lost all of it these past few months of not doing leg work. Time to get it in gear and start back up again!

We did bench work Friday and it’s bench day today so we did it again. I managed to do 95# again for flat and incline but it was harder. Raise it to 75# on military press from 65#. Hate dips but managed those with almost 1/3 of my weight taken off. Did a couple pull-ups with the 33# taken off. Pulled on the ribs a bit but was able to do them.

Ate lunch and had a snack right before the gym. Still had the heart rate jump up 30 bpm every time I got off a bench. Was a little lightheaded and dizzy off and on but no black spots in my vision. Dr was thinking low blood sugar as my blood pressure held steady for her. At home after doing deadlifts it jumped to 136/87 when its normally 110/80 ish. Heart rate jumped from 80-140 last night. I think I’ve narrowed it down to a heart issue or POTS. When she calls in a week or so to schedule my bone scan and MRI I’ll ask for an EKG again or a stress test.

Oh my peeper. Hang in there girl and hope for a good outcome. I’ll say a prayer for you. ❤️🙏 Would this be a side effect from chemo possibly? I know with my mom, her chemo has wrecked havoc her body. Every side effect imaginable pretty much.

Thanks wifey! Yes it could be from chemo. It’s been 3 years but a couple years ago I did the liveSTRONG program through the YMCA. I’d walk on a treadmill for half an hour twice a week to start and I’d get a little dizzy. I’d get the black spots in my vision when we did one particular group class that involved a lot of weighted squats, curls etc in rapid succession. After that it didn’t bother me much. After talking with a friend it seems I’ve complained off and on about this stuff since we started back to the gym a year or so ago so it’s been happening longer than I remember. All I can figure is that it’s constantly on my mind now since it happens every time I’m in the garden or working out. I took AC+T to my cancer. Adriamycin causes heart issues and I was told that I’m the beginning. Now when I look up the other two online it shows that they too can cause heart problems. They said I wouldn’t have heart issues for ‘many years’ and now I’m wondering if that was said just to get me to take it. Guess we will see what damage it did to my heart if they’ll tell me my current heart function % when I go in. Still waiting to schedule it. They said someone should call me in a few days to set up a cardiologist appointment.

Oh, peeper, Im so sorry, and I really hope you can get some clear answers. You have been through a lot and have come through like a champ. Maybe just knowing where you are at with everything and what you can do to manage everything will help you feel better. Unknowns are the worst sometimes. Being strong and fit like you are is surely so good and will help you. I really know nothing about anything really, but I care. Hang tight.,. We are praying for you.
