ok...what can I talk about today???

I woke up feeling absolutely crappy.

I am so tired of waking up feeling washed out tired and just generally yucky.

Along with the other fun medical conditions that I have so graciously picked up when I had turned 50, (not the case but sure seems so) I was diagnosed last year with sever sleep apnea. oh fun.
Well, I finally got my cpap machine, and have been fighting with the mask that I had chosen for the past 2 weeks.
When I had the sleep study, the mask that I have fit fine, and I woke up feeling wonderful!!
That was only one night....This dam thing will not get a good seal on my nostrils. I even turned the dam thing upside down. This particular mask fits over your nostrils, kind of like a nasal cannula.
I fight half of the night trying to keep a seal, and the other half trying to pry my tongue off of the roof of my mouth!!
I wake up like I have eaten the sahara dessert!!!
Yes, it does have a humidifier. I have that set at '3' I tried it at '5'' and it made no difference.
*sigh*
Hopefully the new mask comes today. This new on is like a cap and fits completely over the nose.
Maybe I can get some rest....

Now on to the diet front

I am trying my darndest to reduce my carbs....and am failing.
Granted, I am switching to multigrains and such, but still having a hard time getting them down.
I think I will just give myself the pepsi treat one day a week. ... maybe on saturdays.

I know I haven't been on this low carb goodness for very long....almost a week.
but I think thats because I couldn't go grocery shopping this last week, and have to wing it with what I had here at the house.

I have to make out a shopping list before saturday, and to figure out my meals for the week.
The hubby and I had a discussion of me eating in the afternoon and then me making his separate dinner when he gets home from work. He said "whatever works for you" !! Gotta love him!!

So.....things to get.....hmmmm

spinach (more than likely frozen over canned)
Jumbo eggs
mushrooms
Lettuce and tomatoes (mine aren't ripe yet and my lettuce croaked)
Chicken
Cauliflower!!! I love this stuff!!
hmmm...a stick of pepperoni??? and some chunk cheese???

I think I'll figure it out. I think I'll reset my calories per day down to 1800 calories, since I am eating less than that.

Well, I'm off...I want to see what kind of mischief I can get into today...and I have to do some photoshop work today. I promised a friend that I would make a headstone for her cat that just passed away.
Got to make the template on photoshop first, then transfer it to the tile I have.

I have to finish carving the one for my 18 yr old cat that just passed also.

I, too, am having an issue with my carb counts. The problem is I'm such a huge addict the cravings drive me insane! I keep telling myself that if I can just keep them reduced everyday for a week the cravings will go away.... gawd I hope so! Glad your hubby is on board. And hugs about yer kitty :'(
