Again...I weighed on a scale that was not my own...and it registered 231.7. Again I want to write about it because it helps to remind me how good it feels to see the scale go down. Tomorrow I will be home again, on my own scale and I will have this to look back on if/when my weight may/may not go up. I know it's all a matter of what's in my mind but sometimes these little mind games help. I read this morning that what we think about ourselves is what we get. What we are envisioning about ourselves today will come to pass in the future. So today, instead of thinking how many times I have tried to lose weight in the past and failed, I am going to dwell on the fact that this is it! This is the time I am going to reach my goals. This is the future for me. I AM going to lose this weight and feel good about myself. Right now, I am in control of my thoughts...and I think that I am going to be successful and lose these pounds I have gained. When fear of always being overweight and not being able to lose weight knock on my door - I am going to let my faith in a healthy future answer the door and send those bad thoughts away. I send you these good thoughts today too. Have a healthy day.
