Sometimes our suppers are picture worthy. Thanks to the hubby for grilling all this delicious food, AND his sister who raised the beef and of course I grew and harvested the veggies. 😊

A family's own harvested meal?! That is a very rewarding meal to be very proud of. I don't understand what that tastes like, but I'm sure it must feel great!

We eat a lot of homegrown meals, our life revolves around growing a big garden and then freezing/canning it for all year round. Living where we do there can be weeks in really bad winters where the only way to get out is to crawl through piles of snow. So it’s nice to know my freezers/storage room is full of the good stuff. And our meat come from family that raises it and our kids raise lambs in the summer for 4H projects. 😊
