Toni I really hope you do not leave. You are one of the reasons that I check in there daily and I hope you will not let her run you off. There are way too many of us there that need you. It is rude her behavior and immature, but you did nothing wrong. Remember when Myrna came back and said I cried when you all told me I was not eating low carb my feelings were hurt. BUT she knew we were not being mean to her that we were being honest. Her feelings were hurt from the truth. If people are not doing low carb then they need to think twice about joining the group if they do not want to talk low carb. 

I'm kind of letting it ride, right this minute, Jaime. But she's no an admin, and I've received several messages from other people that do not want to be part of a group where she's an admin, simply because of how incredibly rude she's been. I've sent a message to Linda and I hope that this gets resolved. I'm a grown up, I can ignore her. But it sucks that I feel that I have to. 

I did not realize that she is now an admin. I am with everyone else and quite honestly if she is an admin I do not want to be a part of a group where she is an admin. If that is the case then we break off and start a new group. You are right it does suck that there are people that still behave in a highschool way. As Sunkeeper said on my journal she is there to learn about the weightloss path that we are all on not about someone's family problem or that they are bored at work. If I need online entertainment then I can get that from facebook. I need this check in as a way to be accountable and to have a support network of people that are doing the same thing that I am doing. 

WAIT!!!! HOLD THE PRESS!! I HAVE TO READ THESE POSTS AGAIN!!! TONI YOU CAN NOT AND ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!! I NEED YOU GIRLFRIEND! This saddens me, but I was telling Angie yesterday that I was feeling some kind of way about the group too.. (sigh sigh sigh) 

Well here's the thing ... Angie is also an admin and so is Linda. They are both awesome (as you know), I don't want to leave a group that is so wonderful but at the same time, I think admins shouldn't be as rude as Julie was this morning. I don't know right now, honestly. I feel like Julie instigated and started the entire kerfluffle, so ... you know ... I don't know. I'm letting it ride for right now. 

Dorothy, there's more. Seriously, she was just straight up rude. The thing is, Angie, you and quite a few other people said THE EXACT same things that I was saying and she agreed with them. So yeah, I'm not sure what rubbed her the wrong way but admins shouldn't be so incredibly rude. 

Agreed and as is with many of us we are scarce over the weekend and the person that was being 'defended' was like I had no idea I had a busy weekend. So it was all for naught and sometimes it is better to just let something 'ride'. I did find it very rude too and as Dorothy said I have benen feeling some kind of way about things as well. 

Maybe we could start another thread inside the group that specifies Atkins and then use that as a daily check in? I am trying to think of another solution as there are several that have been key to one another and a tremendous help. 

Tony, I would hate to see you go. I know you're going to let it ride and that's a good idea. Maybe give it a little space. I re-read some of the posts and I totally agree that it was rude and it actually reflects badly on her, not you. Don't let someone young and immature to keep you from doing anything you want to do. I've learned alot since joining this group and it was an awesome group.

Please please don't go Toni!! I agree with Moka, Dorothy, and Jaime.  

Toni, your way to big and good a person for this. If you leave she wins, is that really what you want? She's made it very clear to all of us by the looks of it just what she's like and we already know what your like so if it's decided to go then we go as a group because truly we all need each other, not in a clingie way, just for the support we give. You've helped so many of us so if you need our support now we're here for you, holding you up. To leave I think will hurt your progress as well as ours, none of us wants that. She's just simply not worth it, the friendships you've developed have to count for something right now, are they worth leaving for a cheater? We all believe in this life style we've chosen and by being each others sounding boards it's so comforting to know someone else really understands. Don't let a cheater win. It's simply just not right. 

OMG! Bored at work has 10 lbs to lose, are they twins? There are people here with very serious health issues concerning their weight and these 2 plop in and high jack a thread that has gone on for how long now? This has gotten to be ridiculous, what are either of them doing here? Your going to let them get away with it Toni??????? Power company is parked at the end of my driveway. May not be on for a bit, don't know what's going on. 

Aww, you guys ... seriously, you guys rock ... It's not about letting her win. Look at this from my perspective. This group is no longer the same group that it once was. I'm all for diversity, it's a good thing. I'm not even angry at Diana - as she stated - she had NO idea that Julie had taken it upon herself to defend her. I am angry at Julie, however. I feel like this woman instigated and started controversy in a group that had NEVER had any. She contributes nothing. Does nothing - and until this incident, I don't think I was even aware that she existed. But now she's an admin in a group that I used to love and no longer feel comfortable in. We shouldn't be so afraid of hurting someone's feelings that we aren't participating or being honest. This is a very real problem in my thinking. I'd like for it to be addressed. I'm waiting to hear back from Linda. If threads aren't going to be merged, then there kind of isn't a point to her being an admin, is there? I don't know. I don't know what the answer is but I'm sick of the clique-ish, petty, rude behavior.  

But either way, I'm not going to leave the site. You guys will still have me. Just not in the group. 

Actually ladies, I'm not going anywhere. There are some changes that will make most of us very happy. The people that it won't make happy, can suck it.
