crabby Kat's Journal, 31 Jan 13

I got up at 7:30 this morning to make sure I was showered & dressed before the earliest time the UPS guy could make it here. I usually get my monthly shipment of medication (that I have to sign for) in the morning in plenty of time to make it to a 10:45 class at the gym.

This morning I wait, and wait, and wait; no music on, always listening, always ready to run to the door. After 11 am, I noticed a message on my phone (which I always had with me) from my mail order pharmacy letting me know that UPS tried to deliver but I wasn't available, so they had asked them to try again today, though there was no guarantee.

I called the pharmacy and let them know that no attempt had been made to deliver; no notice on door or anywhere, and that my entire morning had been spent watching and waiting. They confirmed that they had the correct address, & said they would contact UPS.

UPS called, I had to explain AGAIN, even going outside again and looking for notice in the vicinity of my door, that I have a working doorbell and I didn't turn on music or TV so I wouldn't miss them; they had not shown up. They checked the address, correct. hmmm.

So, I'm waiting again, after UPS contacted the driver and told him to deliver my d#*n package. I was told they work all hours. I will not hurt the driver, I will not hurt the driver...

I couldn't go to Zumba with friends, or Silver Sneakers, or turn on my home Wii Zumba. I'm stuck here...

Doorbell rang, new driver here at 1:30, apologizing for going to the wrong condo. I laughed it off, said "that's OK, I just missed Zumba, and...", signed for my package and shut the door. I didn't hurt the poor guy, lol.

So, what to do, what to do. Shopping, cleaning house, Zumba at 4:30 or at home? Decisions, decisions. I did promise Beau new feather thingies for his DaBird toy and some fresh live wheat grass - shopping it is! Maybe Zumba, too. I can always have kale chips for dinner, ha ha. Actually, we have some pork top loin chops, cauliflower, cabbage; all sorts of good stuff to throw together a quick dinner.

Later, my friends.

Sounds like hell or high water there was Zumba yesterday. I am order my xbox360 with Zumba today, so I'll be Zumbaing, if there is such a word before you know it. As far as Silver Sneakers are concerned, I don't know I could pull off such a fashion statement, I think I'll stick to dance.
