Day 6 I'm glad that I was down this morning after all. Last night was hard to get through, so I hope tonight will be better. Didn't sleep well until 6am & then slept till 9.45am. Had my meds with my orange juice. Treadmilled for 45mins, incline 3, speed 2.6mph & then 20 mins of stretching. My husband is home all this week at noon for lunch. Yesterday I made cream of mushroom soup, using a can of carnation milk & a mixture of flour & cornstarch to thicken. No idea of the calories. For lunch, I made a green smoothie, with 1 stick celery, 1 large leaf of Kale, 1 banana, 2 pineapple rings (from can)1 scoop mango protein powder, 2 tbsp Source 0% vanilla yogourt, 3 ice cubes, 1 c water. I drank half of the smoothie & then had a bowl of soup. In the afternoon, booked a week's holiday in New Orleans in November, so that's exciting, as we've never been there. Then my husband & I lay down for an hour's nap. I fell asleep for the last half hour, I think. So that will probably affect me for tonight again!!! Supper was basically the same as last night. I tried to put less butter on my baked potato, but it tasted SO good............ 7.40pm. I've just come home from my pool exercises at the hospital & I'm debating what I should eat. The rest of my smoothie or a rice & fruit bowl? I'm thinking because I had the potato, that I shouldn't have rice as well. So I guess, it's the smoothie for tonight. Going to put my feet up & watch some TV now.
