I was exhausted when I got home from work today and really didn't wanna go to the gym. I sat down on the couch and was ready to call it a night. Instead I got up ate a banana, drank a protein shake and got my butt to the gym. The hardest part was getting going in my inclined treadmill warmup. After that the rest of the workout was awesome, even increased my weight for overhead presses! I'll take dedication, consistency and having goals over motivation any day. If I was waiting for motivation i would still be on the couch. Although after about a half hour into my workout motivation did come after feeling an amazing pump!!!!!

Good for you ! The endorphins release post exercise makes your self discipline worth it for sure 👍

Good move, making yourself go! Something I’ve found to help me is reverse the training order and do small muscle movements before compound exercises. Like your experience, I sometimes get a personal best on what seemed would be a bad day.
