LOL - got a chuckle at 'just eat a cup of the sauce'. As a kid, I used to sneak gulps of the Hershey's syrup that was always in the fridge. Brought back memories. :)

Oh I’m quite tempted to bring along a measuring cup and have a go at it lol. I too used to drinks the Hershey syrup. They have a 5 calories per serving version now :D. It’s not quite as good as I remember but I keep it around just in case I need a quick chocolate fix. Sadly, the kids always empty it before I can have even a spoonful. I had one from the first bottle I bought several months ago and none since lol. They think they are sneaking ‘mommy’s food’ and I know they are having a chocolate milk that’s a bit healthier than what they’d have had a year or more ago. 😉

It’s batter that’s been squirted into a deep fryer. They squirt it all around in squiggles so imagine a fried pancake with lots of holes. Then they cover it in powdered sugar goodness. The darn thing upset the tummy though. It’s the only thing I can figure. Don’t really have fried foods much anymore. Yes it’s street food or carnival food :).

Peeper/Lzenn Did you ever have the nestle quick powder to make chocolate milk? I remember being a little fatty and trying to quietly sneak a spoonful so I wouldn't get caught but I inhaled the powder and choked. Ha. And Chris- why is Seattle so outta touch? Funnel cake is a fave of Diablo. We went to Branson over the summer last year and silver dollar city had funnel cakes with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Delish!!

Oh yeah, DP, I used the Nestles powder on my Rice Krispies because my mother wouldn't buy Cocoa Krispies. And my inner child still is ok with that! LOL

@princess, I grew up with the nestle quick! I still prefer it but being lactose intolerant I rarely drink it. If I’m gonna brave it I go for the strawberry now. Mom liked chocolate but my dad would buy the strawberry occasionally on his weekends.

@Chris you’d love them! This was the same as what princess is talking about. We get them in Branson too. I just skip all the toppings. Don’t need the calories, afraid to ruin something I like and afraid I’d end up liking it and then stuck wanting it even more lol. One place had sugar and cinnamon as a topping. I’d have loved to try that and may take a bit of cinnamon with me next time I know I’ll be getting one. At the park I could’ve gotten all kinds of ice cream toppings, candy toppings etc. The sky was the limit lol, and your wallet! $5 for three toppings after the $9 price tag for the plain one. Hubby got one and it had maybe 8 m&ms and 2 mini Reece’s cups smashed up. Don’t remember the other topping. I could’ve dumped 5 bags of m&ms on it for that price lol.

Omg haha. That was super easy to type considering my autocorrect corrects everything. Only tried to correct me like 5 times. But I’ll check my spelling better from now on :)
