Operation Treadmill Day Two
Woke 1/2 hour earlier to fit in 20 mins and shower; rocked out to Hippy Hippy Shake twice and Dancing in the Sheets but only made it 15 mins. Still proud though - I have arthritis of the spine and degenerative disc disease and can barely walk upright in the mornings so this was quite a step for me in many ways.
Tried to sneak in there before my little doggy woke but she caught me and stood in the door sneering - if I could read her mind I believe she's thinking 'a lot of walking and going no where... Mommy's broken...or lost her mind.'
Lesson Learned: I'm not a morning person..... really Really REALLY not a morning person. So I am very eager to form this new habit and welcome the interesting other changes it will bring.

Good for you Bella! But what is this music? I haven't heard of any of it and I know a lot of music. Dancing in the Sheets? lol

Thank you Rubie-Sue. Teskander - Dancing in the Sheets is off the 1984 soundtrack to the movie Footloose. Haven't seen the 2011 remake yet but I see that soundtrack renamed it 'Dancing in Dee's Sheets'. I'm glad you asked - reminded me I need to download 'Footloose' to my MP3 - that one will definitely get my heart pumping!

Thank you Jaime. I have to share a 'haha' moment. One of MH's younger, healthier friends came over and I was showing him my new treadmill. When he determined I was currently (as I need to build up, or at least, feel I do consider I NEVER exercise) only walking at about 3.5-4mph he said 'oh, I walk all the time...kick it up to Six.' He didn't last long. Nor would I - I'm not being smug. Was just a haha to his condescending comment about my speed. Don't mess with us old ladies, we'll get you every time.
