Sweet potato is very good for high blood pressure. Very high in potassium and low on starch

I do my sweet potato yams in the mic for 15 min +/- hit with butter and eat with bacon for breakfast and I am not stringing you a line here. I am on an intermittent fasting and OMAD regime and after 2 1/2 months down 17 kg’s and continue to lose. Haven’t had a yam since mid February now but that is how I prep. Anyway good luck and good journey to a healthier place!

Just remember that is my OMAD so no other meals or snacks just water and coffee for the next nearly 24 hrs. I myself have very little problems with this and add onions and greens all the time. I do love my unprocessed pork belly (before bacon 🥓) . I average 1250 calories on my breaking fast meal but that’s it for the day and I try to avoid insulin spiking foods (breads and stuff). Here instead of yams/sweet potatoes I have brown rice with my fast breaking meal but it is pure and not refine for North American markets where it is bright white. Take a look on U-tube for Dr Jason Jung on intermittent fasting. A free very informative talk.
